Locomotion (移動, Ido), whose real name is Rei Eigaka (映画化令, Eigaka Rei) is an alpha league hero who is under employment of the planetary defense agency. She possesses the unique and great title of the Fastest Thing Alive (最速の生き物, Saisoku No Ikimono) due to the universally acknowledged fact that she alone is the single fastest living entity, not just within the bounds of pro heroism, but within the bounds of all intelligent life in total, being born gifted with the ability to harness speed which defies physical and theoretical reason, making her largely untouchable.
Due to being a high-ranking, popular member of the PDA, locomotion is an individual who is well within celebrity status, being a person of great fame and tremendous wealth. When not engaging her inherent duties and responsibilities as professional hero, rei is a practicing athlete, who specializes in sprint and running-based sports, which of course, are all competitions that she has never lost, having secured a complete and total victory in every running race she has ever participated in, totally dominating and blowing away her opponents by a tremendous margin.
Rei's profound, simply godlike speed is but a mere application of the unique and extremely rare source of extradimensional energy known as the "Origin Of All Motion" -- a type of energy which governs all momentum and the behavior of objects as they move throughout the contents of time and space.
